Yesterday was one of the most relaxing day I've had in a long time. Woke up real early (for a weekend) and after getting ready, drove off to pick up the Babester. Of course, as expected she was not ready yet, lol, so I just chilled in the car for a bit waiting for her. She got into the car after about 2 minutes of waiting (which wasn't long, hehehe) and we drove off to grab breakfast at McD's. Dropped off a Big Breakfast for the Datin Momma and then we were off on our little adventure!

With Babes holding the map, we drove slowly around Bukit Damansara looking for the spa where we had our appointment set. Didn't take long and we were finally there, Jentayu Spa.

It looked like a comfy little place, with a cosy ambience. After taking our slippers off, we stepped inside and a strong whiff of eucalyptus hits us. It's one of those oil thingies where you put your fragrant oil and burn a candle under it (the correct word does not seem to come to me at this point). Anyway, it was rather refreshing I must say As we took a seat in the waiting area, a young lady comes and greets us with three pots of..err..goo. She asked us to choose which of those that we would like to use as our scrub and soak? So after being a bit disgusted by the smell of the first mix, Babes settled for the second mix (which was called SENSUAL! hahahahahha) and I settled for the third one called Bliss.

Then they ushered us downstairs where we were led to a couple of wooden chairs, and then we soaked our feet in some hot water (which took a bit of getting used t..it was really hot!) and they scrubbed our feet clean. After that, we were led to seperate rooms and were told to change into…err…nothing. Hhahahaha…ok…they gave us these uncomfortable pair of disposable underwear to put on and apart from that..it was just a towel to wrap ourselves with. Then off to the steamroom we went!

It was quite funny to be talking to Babes through a fog of steam. Never did I imagine that we would be in a situation like that. Then we chatted quite a lot and I think that sort of contributed to our breathing difficulty, ehhehehe.. After about 20 minutes of steam (which felt like forever) we them proceeded back to our individual massage rooms to have our scrub and massage done.

IT..WAS..HEAVEN..

The scrub was, well, pretty much a scrub lah, nothing special but the massage was just AWESOME! Although i did wince a bit here and there (and i heard Babes give a yelp a couple of times) it was great! I felt so relaxed after that. Then after the massage was done, a warm tub of milk and bubbles was all ready for me to soak in….nothing could have beat the splendour I was having. I think babes soaked in a warm tub of flowers, some herbal oils and bubbles. Heehhehhehe….wonderful I tell ya…

I find it really impressive how they positioned the massage mat and the tub. See, the tub is placed in the middle of the room, and since the room is not so big, they don't have enough space to put in a massaging table. So what they do is they install foldable wooden bars on top of the tub, and the massage mat over the bars and voila! A massaging table! Cool ey? Oh well, I seem to think so

Apart from the occasional awkward naked moments with the masseuse, it was just the best pampering session I have been needing in a long long time. I can see how these luxurious sessions can become addictive. A little bit pricey to pamper yourself this way all the time so I can safely say I won't be going back next week, hehehhe…but it was all well worth it.

After that, me and babes felt very light headed, so we drove off to get lunch and I must say it's quite surprising that neither of us fell asleep into our plates. We continued our day together to a visit to my tailor, sending her materials for my wedding dresses and also to discuss the designs. I love my tailor, she's the best at suggestion ideas and also to see what best suits me. After about one and a half hours at the tailor's, we then took a quick detour to my wedding reception venue. Babes wanted to see and I'm very happy that she approves

Then I sent her home…and I just flopped into bed the moment my head hit my pillow. I think I have developed a liking for this, oh dear…hheheheh…
