Christina Aguilera Concert in Singapore
Christina's concert has got to be THE BEST concert I have ever been to!! That woman is AMAZING!
Despite the bit of drama that happened in getting to the concert (no taxi wanted to take us there due to the traffic jam), we actually managed to get there on time…thank God! We expected to see an opening act by some unknown band but much to our surprise – no opening band! The concert started with Christina straight away and the moment she sang, our jaws dropped open.
Her voice was PHENOMENAL! Simple amazing!!! And the dancers were awesome too!! Herself, quite minimal on the dance moves and we later found out that she was pregnant which explains the lack of hyperactive moves. None of that affected the quality of her voice though. I just can't describe how great she was!! Ok ok, you know how sometimes when you go to a Nelly Furtado concert, or a Gwen concert or some other singer and the way they sing isn't exactly how you expect, especially after listening to their album over and over again on your i-pod/cd player? Well, you don't get that with Christina. Her golden voice was just … breath-taking! I would recommend EVERYONE and ANYONE to go attend her concert if you ever get the chance! It's not often that you get a young beautiful singer who actually CAN sing (unlike Lindsay Lohan…'hover..hover..hover..' hahahhaah).
Another thing that made it fun to watch was her change of wardrobe. She ran backstage to change almost every other song! It was awesome!!! And then she even re-mixed her old time favourites like What a Girl Wants into the beat and rythm of her new album. Very very cool. And there was this one part where she sang on a merry-go-round horse..and there was also one where the dancers all came out acting and wearing outfits like circus performers, with flame twirling batons and everything!
Another favourite part of mine was when she sang the latest favourite – Candyman 
So I went home from the concert with an experience to remember…along with a Back To Basics tour book memoribilia and a super huge poster of Christina which I have no idea where I'm gonna hang…lol.
